Dr. Prateek Vishwakarma is one of Nagpur's most accomplished eye surgeons, specialising in Vitreo-Retinal diseases, complex cataract surgery, and glaucoma management. He holds internationally recognised postgraduate qualifications from the UK — FICO from the International Council of Ophthalmology, FRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow, and MRCP from the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh.
He completed a rigorous 24-month Long-term Fellowship in Vitreo-Retina & Uvea at Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya, one of India's premier retina institutes, followed by a Fellowship in Phacoemulsification. He was honoured with the prestigious Sadguru Best Fellow Award 2018 at the Retina Update Conclave — a recognition of exceptional clinical skill and dedication.
With over 10 years of surgical experience — including 5,000+ cataract surgeries, 1,000+ vitrectomies, and 3,000+ intravitreal injections — Dr. Vishwakarma brings a rare combination of international training and hands-on surgical volume to his patients in Nagpur.
